I'm in upstate NY but since I have a multisystem VCR the fact that (with you having a UK e-mail addy) they're PAL movies won't be a big problem. Change the ┐'s to o's and drop the nospam.

Offhand, I'd be interested in the (first) 3 Amityville Horror movies and maybe the first 2 Jaws movies for starters.

Hi, I have over 100 precorded beta tapes which I purchased from a video store I used to do repairs for in the 80's. They stopped renting beta tapes at around this time and soon after closed their doors for ever! I just wondered if there was any interest in ex-video library tapes. Most but not all have their original sleaves with pictures. I have not listed them as I would just like to get rid of all of them. Can anyone give me advice on the best place to flog them. I must have about 200 used tapes with TV recordings from the TV made around the 70's to 80's too. Any feedback welcome.

hi,

The head/disk assembly that I need for the SL HF900 is: [DSR 57A-R] If anyone has one available, please contact me. I would also be interested in the same machine that maybe is not in great cosmetic condition, but has good heads. I can pull the part out and install it in the machine that I already have. Again, please contactr me.

Thanks.-paulnyc

CC Paul Figgiani;I use it in HF 950 it runs smooth but I dont have "Pause Mode", cause it's for HF150 origin as I told I force it into since there's no more parts. Also I'd tried HF77ES into 950 they doing FineI dont know wether its fits in HF900,logically if it works on 950 it should be OK in HF900.Part no A-6762-226-ADisk Assy(dsr-64-r)

What always amuses me is the companies that make their living turning over video equipment, and they'll get something that their bench techs won't touch, and they slap it on ebay saying something like "Our trained professionals wouldn't associate with this deck, I'm sure you rank ammatueres can make a good show of it!" Ha HA HA!

_@_oo - I kinda figured that but if I try to ignore the fluff that sellers like to put in their listings and wonder about the important stuff like if it "just needs a cleaning" or "adjustment/lubing"to work...

Sending out the money order and SL-HFT7 tuner cover today...

Um, Koenigprussen, that Talking Betamax was never "top-of-the-line" as advertised... Good catch. Btw more than one company designed talking photocopiers around that time. Mita DC-121(T?) and Sharp SF-780. Both were well-made (but as short on other features as that SL-2410). I always wanted to leave the front door open to find out if they said "Your door is ajar"

Brendad:

Try <dasimperator@aol.com> and tell him I sent you. I just sold him two 300s and he should have a spare working loading assembly. Let me know how you make out. Is there any other assembly you can use? Like one from a Sony 70? What are you willing to pay?
