hi there

6 vtc-m20 's for sale, $125 each australian, and given the fact they have no remotes, and are of questionable head life left, I feel expensive way past there means (paid 19 bucks and 60 bucks for my two) how ever are in great cosmetic condition, ex copy house gear

also, out of curiosity, werent the hf 77's and hf 99's and there was one other model, a f75 I think released in the uk?

hope this is of some help

C7 uses Betastack not C5

C7 is probably worth something as an interest C5 probably £20.

Only really valuable decks are the HiFi 3 , C9 and F1

Forgot to put this in the last message. How much would Star Wars : The Empire Strikes Back in pre-recorded Beta format be worth nowadays? It is a 1984 originally packaged tape. Price in £sterling please.

Is it still possible to get a Betastack attatchment for a Sony C5 machine? If so, where can I get one? And, can anyone confirm that the Sony C5 is a collector's item?

I have recently acquired a Sony SL-3030 and can't play tapes back when hooked up to cable (can't record from tv either). Machine works perfect when just connected to the tv. Cable people say their system is not at fault. Don't have this problem with my VHS machine. Is there something about Beta not being compatable with my cable system?

Hey I'm from the US looking for a hi-fi Beta player, super beta if possible. Im willing to discuss pricing. Thank you. All I ask is that that the price is not too high, maybe around the $150 range. I have been to Ebay.com, and they sell things like this for that price, its just that I'd much rather be able to have a direct connection. Thankyou for replying.

Er, sorry about the two notices above which look similar. In fact, they are - just made a cuppa and pressed the post message button pre and post cuppa.

Just looking through the notices and there seem to be some people posting non-pal messages here - claiming this site is for all Betamax fans. However, it does in fact say BetamaxPal at the top of the page.

Regards,

Ian.

Well, I don't want to, but my collection is getting to big.

For Sale:

Sony SL-HF 300 beta hi-fi. Perfect working condition. No original remote, but will include a RCA universal that works. The only cosmetic problems are that the front door over the controls is missing (no big deal) and there are several big scratches on the top from other vcr's being on top of the unit. It functions perfectly, and was serviced recently. I'm looking to get about $ 200 US. I'm located in Newfoundland Canada, but will ship anywhere in North America for $20. Please e-mail if interested.

Thanks,Patrick Walsh

Hi - wondering if anyone has a copy of a SL-HF150 user manual they could send me, or a photocopy of it. I am in Sydney, Australia, and of course am happy to pay for this. Thanks, John.

I have a large collection of Beta tapes that I'd like to be able to watch directly or translate to VHS if necessary. Looking for any information on where I might buy a new or used Beta VCR at a reasonable price. Any suggestions would be welcome. aloha

I think an ultimate machine would be a cross between a C9 and 950. The mechanics of the C9 and drum of the 950. If would have to have NICAM/PDC etc of course! Off tape RF outputs like the 1700 would be nice and maybe a U-matic dub connector or even a component output - Better than S-Video:)

DVD is great I have to say. I'm even impressed by some of the new JVCS***S decks. Particularly the 9500 - S-VHS, NICAM, Dynamic drum and a built in TBC all for around 400 quid. Amazing! I wander whatBeta would be offering if it were the predominant format?I'd be interested to hear what JVC is bringing out in the US market?
