Re Philips 1500 and 1700 machines. Go to address groups.yahoo.com and search vcr to find user group who can maybe help. Good luck.
I'm new to the list ,and i'm looking for any footage of Grampian or Scottish TV on Beta,VC 2000,or N1500 formats or even VHS from the 80's or 90's get intouch if you have anything to sell.
I am currently looking for a working V2000 machine. I have approx 15 tapes at home, some of which contain Video footage of my late father, and I am in need of a Video player so that I can transfer these to VHS. I am not bothered about record quality as I shall not be using this function
I do not mean to seem rude, but I am a student and so excessive prices and long distances may prove a problem. I would quite happily give this machine away to an enthusiast after I am finished with it as my main aim is to transfer family footage over to VHS.
I live in Presto (lancashire) and do own a car (25 years old!) so I can travel the surrounding areas.
Many thanks for all your time - I do hope this request is successfull.
P.S WE do have a working Betamax recorder at home, as as part of a return favour I can transfer a few Betamax cassettes over to VHS!! :-)
Hi! I'm new to this list - I'm sorry if I am going off-topic here but I'd just like to ask/say one or two things. Firstly I have an old N1700 Philips VCR. It's working (largely) OK - most of the electronics are fine and the mechanical side of this VCR although it sounds "tired" (it takes forever to rewind) seems to be in order. The biggest problem though is that my N1700 has a problem in that colour is missing - everything recorded and played back is in black and white! There's a fuse on the main board (top right) which seems to do nothing so I'm guessing some voltage isn't making it to the board, indiciating a power supply fault - but what's wrong with the power supply I don't know :( (and I'd rather have a N1700 with a colour fault than a dead N1700!).
Also, can anyone tell me what's the best way to store/treat such an ancient machine to make sure it works for as long as possible? I tend to use the N1700 as little as possible, is this the best way? Can I carry out any general mantienence to prolong its life?
Finally if anyone has any old N1700 tapes they don't want :) please email me, I'm always after N1700 tapes (esp. if they have old material on!)
It is now 19 May 2003
I have two Grundig Video 2000 machines, a 2200 model and an 880 model. The latter has a removeable infra-red control unit and I also have the remote control for that (currently without active battery). One (the 880) hasn't worked for a good while, the other has only just been found to have ceased working. Which is a shame coz some of my old tapes have pix of my late wife on, and others are of historical interest, like Live Aid 1986.
Does anybody still repair these machines? Or does anyone know where I can get a replacement. Or as a last restort, anybody interested in 80 or more Video-2000 tapes?
Here's hoping there are answers to the earlier hopes.
...and by the way, I have also inherited about 100 old Betamax tapes (along with a Betamax machine, which works fine except for not giving sound over to my tele ~ which could be the tele's fault), most with western movies on, which I'd be happy to let go to a betamax aficionado.
Write soon, just to let me know this site is still alive.
VR2020 colour instruction manual - I have one of these in good condition if anyone wants it for a couple of quid?
Let me know, first come first served.
Will be disposed of by 23/5 if no interest.

For sale: Pye 22VR20/21VR20 video combination in original boxes. Mains power supply/timer/tuner unit & separable portable video recorder with two re-chargeable batteries. These batteries probably don't work. When playing cassettes the recorder produces a picture mostly covered in 'snow'. In fast-wind mode it pulls whichever end of the tape it reaches off the relevent hub instead of automatically stopping. Offers or part-exchange for a Grundig two speed Video 2000 recorder. English West Midlands.
Hi,In one of the archives on this site, I found mention of the Sony TGV-3. I am looking to get hold of one of these units, so if anyone who reads this has one or comes accross one, I would be happy to make an offer (although not a really high offer - im a student). Thanks,Tim
I currently have available 2 Grundig 2x4 Super VCR's in good working order. I also have some tapes and instruction manuals. There is also a rare item which is the AV unit which plugs into the rear of a Philips V2020 /21 series to enable video/audio input/output.
I am located in the Manchester area and can deliver within 40 miles of the M60 as I travel a lot during the course of my work. The VCRs are not suitable for sending via the mail/courier due to the way the courier companies throw them about. If anyone is interested then e-mail with sensible offers for what is now becoming a rarity.
Philips N1500 :

OFFER: hi there! I'm selling (or perhaps OFFERING) my Philips V2000 to any-one willing to copy my seven tapes into the VHS format. The reason why I cannot do this myself is because the video displays an image with a slight problem that I believe shouldn't be too difficult to solve. Anyway it won't cost you much and I'm no longer using it so drop me a line. I live in Portugal but I travel quite often...
Hello! I've got Grundig V2000 2x4 silver! This is excellent VCR and I'm still playing&recording on it! I have also 50 V2000 480h tapes and NEED MORE :-) !!!!Where can I buy new one tapes or slighty used? Best regardsBonkersWarsaw - Poland
Hello,Can anyone help me as I am located in Hampshire, UK and would like to borrow a Philips V2000 player for a day to allow me to transfer some old tapes. I would take extra special care with it (promised) as I could transfer this to DVD as I have the Philips DVD recorder. I would be happy to transfer some video tapes of your own to DVD if you would like?
I think I have a mint condition Philips 2020 sitting in my loft at my parents. Please can someone let me know what it worth today? I'm going to take it out this weekend as I haven't given it a second thought for about 7 years. Hopefully it wont blow up!
Hi everyone I'm wondering if someone may be able to help me Im looking for a Film called "The last snows of Spring" that was on V2000. I can't seem to find it anywhere and was wondering if anyone has a normal video copy that I could buy off of them. My Mother and I have been looking for this film for a number of years, I was 8 the last time it was on T.V and Im now 25 and long to see it again. Please if anyone can help me don't hesitate to e-mail me:)
Message to Jim Lovie.
Ref your question on Grundig 4004 model. This is system before V2000 similar to Philips 1500 machines. See my message just above yours on this page re group on Yahoo where you should find more info.
Wanted - a good home for Video 2000 machines which must be disposed of, five in all - two Philips and three Grundigs. Free to someone willing to collect and save them from being dumped in the skips. I have a Philips 2020 and a 2022 (I think it's a 2022). Both worked the last time they were tested but the 2022 (mine from new) has an intermittent problem where it suddenly shuts down and powers off - I have heard that this is probably a dirty relay or pcb contact, or maybe a power supply problem. The Grundig units are two 2x4 Super's and a System 2000. The System 2000 has a problem with the cover not making the cover switch, other than this I haven't looked at it. Of the two 2x4's, one works well, the other works but has a problem with a slightly grainy picture - this has been proved by substitution to be the power supply and is probably a capacitor as this is a common fault. Just haven't had the time to do anything with them. If I can lay my hands on them (?) I have a User manual for the Philips 2022 and a User manual for the Grundig 2x4. I also have a Grundig 2x4 wireless remote control unit and I think I have a 'cable remote' for the Philips. PLEASE NOTE - These units MUST be collected from Hereford (lower Midlands). I neither have the time or the resources to and for courier collection so please don't ask. They have to be collected. First come, first served.
I'm selling a Grundig Video2000 model 2x4 on Ebay, if anyone interested...
I have an old Philips VR6560(bought in 1983?):For the past 6 month the sound have started to go bad (Disturbance so loud that I cannot hear the real sound)and I have had to "heat"/run it for 10 min before the the sound is OK again. Obviously this is very anoying and I would like to do something about it.
I know only a little about electronics but I guess some of the electrolytic cappactors have gone bad but I do not realy know. (it is worth noting that sound from a prerecorded tape is OK without "preheating")
I do not have the circuit drawings (Where can I get them?) and do not know if this will be adifficult task to tacle.
Does anybody have any idea what is wrong and what can be done about it. I do not want to throw away the best VCR I ever bought and I think paying for a repair would be to expensive for an old recorder like this.ThanksEric
Wanted: Philips 2840 or other second generation Philips V2000 machine, also any B&O V2000 machine. Wanted, service manuals for 2334, 2324 and 2840, heads for second generation Philips machines. Thanks.

I have a Siera 20VR22 that I want to get rid off. If anybody wants it you can have it. Sometimes the tapes got stuck in the machine but I do not know if this was due to the bad state of the tapes or not. Otherwise it works fine.I live in Belgium and as I'm giving it away for free, I don't want to pay any shipping cost. You can mail me directly; if I don't get a reply within 2 weeks it'll have to go.

Hi Video 2000 fans,
internet official for CVC detail: http://bidouille.dyndns.org/~bruno/technicolor.htm
Epilog : CVC Technicolor VCRs have been largely marketed in Germany under the Quelle, Grundig and Uher brands as well. When the Video 2000 standard has been launched by Philips and Grundig, it was once planned to re-use CVC system as a Video 2000 derivative portapack format. For those who ignore it, Video 2000 was a system that used only the half width of a 1/2" tape to achieve video recording. So, as the audio cassettes, Video 2000 cassettes had two usable sides for recording and playback (no autoreverse machines were built). If you only use the half width of a 1/2" tape, that means that you record on a 1/4" width. The big idea was then to use a modified CVC system to record a Video 2000 compatible video tape that could have been played back on conventional decks with an adaptator (like the VHS-C). No further development occured... Well, where are we now, after all that babbling ?? But right here, I'll say..... Finding a CVC VCR today is quite an impossible mission today in France. But more, I ignored that other models than the portapacks existed. I don't think that the VCR pictured below ever existed in SECAM and had been imported here.
Hi Video 2000 fans,

Hi everyone.I own a Philips VR 2020 video recorder and I need the reel gear.I cannot find spares in South Africa. Can anyone help me? Many thanks.
Can anyone advise on alternative formats ?I have just found the most amazing stash of old video equipmentI am familiar with Betamax & V2000 (just picked up a BIG box of tapes) , & have heard of U-matic, but I've seen some items tonight which have really baffled meSome of the equipment is ex-Grampain TV studio - would I be correct in calling it "one-inch video" ? It uses heavy metal spools - there are several cased systems + tapesAlso, which shape is U-matic ?There are several boxes of tapes, some square, like my school used to use, but thee are also some huge oblong cartridges - any idea which format they might be ?

Hello friends, fans of the great and unsurpassable system video2000. I thought until some day I make that the last Philips production of the video2000 had been that relative one to series vr23xx (2324, 2334, 2340, 2350), vr24xx (2414) and vr28xx (2840,2870pcm), today has uncovered that is exists also the these others videorecorder: 2480,2485,2486,2488,2489, 2490 and 2498. Who has information on these blots some?
Ciao amici fans del grande e insuperabile sistema video2000. io pensavo fino a qualche giorno fa che la ultima produzione Philips dei video2000 fosse stata quella relativa alla serie vr23xx (2324, 2334, 2340, 2350), vr24xx (2414) e vr28xx ( 2840,2870pcm ),oggi ho scoperto che sono esistiti anche i questi altri videorecorder: 2480,2485,2486,2488,2489, 2490 e 2498. Chi ha informazioni su queste macchine?

I'm unfamiliar with v.c.r. parts terminology,so I apologise for asking simple questions.I have a Grundig Stereo vcr dated 1982 inside. The picture became poor,so I took the lid off it to see if I could improve it by fiddling about inside. Well, I ruined two small parts inside the spinning 'capstan'-like thing. I don't know what they're called, but they are about 1.5cm long,0.75 cm wide and 1.5 mm thick. They were set 180 deg. opposed to each other with their curved ends inline with the circumference of the 'capstan'. I deduce from reading up that they are a peizo-electric micro-adjustment device for keeping the reader/writer in line as tracks on the tape. I'm not bothered about a decent quality picture, so can these parts be replaced with something bodged up at home,as I don't want to spend anything to repair it. Thanks in advance.
I have stored a Philips PAL N1500 VCR and tapes since when they became obsolete, checking it occasionaly over the years, but now it is finally not working. I had a look inside and all the rubber belts have perished. Does anyone know if it's possible to find replacements?...and if so, can anyone supply information on just where and how the belts should be fitted. Failing this, is anyone interested? I have a lot of tapes of TV transmissions from back then.
where can i find out whot the micro chips in my vcr do
Hello Betaphiles and Video 2000 Club

This remote is the market only in Italy.
I am looking for a kind individual who may be able to tell me where I can purchase a Grundig Video 2000 machine that will play tapes from around 1986/87.It is going to be a gift for my father who has many V2000 cassettes that he cannot play since his machine packed up.Any helpful emails will greatly appreciated. Please subject the emails as "Video 2000".Many thanks.
Hello Betaphiles and Video 2000 Clubs.
Today, I have bought 3 videocassettes Sony, catalogue year in 1984-85, that they are new: 2 Beta Dynamicron L-125 and 1 Video 2000 Dynamicron VCC-360 in store discs. I have only paid 20Euro! The same store, the videocassettes are exausted!
Sorry for my english...... I have an old Philips VR 2840, bought in 1985, unused since years because of two problems... and maybe someone resolved them.
1) Since the very first times, it had a record problem: if you press record(or even when it starts from timer) and the heads aren't running yet, the recordings are corrupted in a strange way, you have b/w images, but not color, and with a noisy flashes (crominance information?) that corrupt all with a frequency of about 2/3 of second. It is difficult to explain with words but, if you have already seen it, you can understand what i mean. The records are ok, almost all the times, if you play the tape, that is running, and AFTER you press record, so that it seem to be a problem of tracking/speed?
2) It is years that I don't use it, so the memory backup is gone...... when mains fail, you have to reprogram all... and it is a bit boring.Which component i have to change?
Thank you in advance, if someone can help me, I wish to use it i a control camera vcr system.
Though this is not related to Video 2000's I have to mention this as it's important.
My mate Doug in Victoria Australia whom has a collection of vintage video equipment is getting rid of three 2 inch Quad VTRs as he needs space for some LMS machines. As there's virtually no marketing in 2 inch VTRs he's going to get them destroyed for scrap metal unless someone is willing to take them off his hands. The 2 inch VTRs are: RCA TR-61, RCA TR-70 and an Ampex AVR-2 all in PAL format. These are very few remaining 2 inch quad VTRs left in Australia.
Anyhow I was wondering if anyone here is interested in these VTRs or know of anyone who is interested in them? If so then here's Doug's email address for you's to contact [email protected] . Also contact me too at [email protected] or [email protected] . I'll be asking around on various message boards and groups and emailing various video companies to see if I can find anyone who's interested as well as I desperately want to see these VTRs go to a good home instead of being bulldozed and used as scrap metal.
Lastly a few things to mention, the suitable environment for these machines would be a room with a tiled or carpeted floor and air conditioning is preferrable too especially in hot weather conditions. Also Doug uses 60 psi of absolute dry compressed air when operating these VTRs.
Hello video 2000 fans.
I have an orginal folder about the philips VR2870.I have also a pictures about the mini 2000 recorder.
Does anyone needs an VR2840? I have 5 recorders, but i only need 2 of them.
the other day I have spoken with a old technician of Grundig of BOLOGNA ( ITALY )and he has confirmed of to have seen the machine v2000 2 x 4 stereo-reverse. to its opinion it seems that it has been commercialized. but miniv2000 it has not never seen them. In the next few days I will send you the images of the last v2000 Philips vr2870 HiFi PCM, of miniV2000 vp200 and the VP300 mini video cassette, the adapter vma2000 and one small image of the video recorder Grundig 2X4 Stereo-reverse 8 hours in Standard play without to turn the tape
I have copied and I regarded the videoplayer Pioneer LD-W1 NTSC in order to change to 2 discs and double quantity tray without need to turn the disc.http://www.laserdiscarchive.co.uk/laserdisc_archive/pioneer/pioneer_ld-w1/pioneer_ld-w1.htm
Video 2000 reverse for mechanical:I have noticed the tray loading motorized in position high and low for reversible and the drum-stand fixed type wide for rotary heads and DTF bidirectional (2 capstan) or the fixed tray loading and the drum-stand fixed type wide type to double ring of the rotary heads and DTF in parallel 2 directional separates (always 2 capstan).
Hi Peter L,
They are first 2 VHS in commerce, year 1984, Philips VR6560 and Grundig VS200. Both monophonic and the maximum duration 5 hours on E-300 video cassette.
Hi people! Does anybody know where either I can get a old Phillips 1700 VCR or where I can get tapes transfered onto VHS? Ive been given 150 1700 tapes and need them to be transfered. Anybody please help??
What are the models (type codes) for the first Philips VHS in 1984-1985 based on the Video2000-design?
I have 9 pre-recorded tapes for the V2000 which I'll sell for £20 plus postage. Anyone interested?

For Sergiolatino. Mysterious 2x4 the super stereo-reverse of which I spoke to you I have seen it leaf through an old review of video of 1982 where they introduced mini-v2000, the models vp200 and vp300, the portable adapter wma2000 and the only vr2200 v2000 (cassette standard) PHILIPS sold also from Grundig and others. Consideration: the minivideo2000 it has not been launch on mercatoper the two reasons: 1): LOSS OF TIME WITH SYSTEM CVC FUNAI THAT HAS CONFUSED THE IDEAS TO THE CONSUMERS YOU SEE MODEL VP100.2): the Philips was it participated in the study of the video8 together to SONY HITACHI MATSUSHITA JVC, but that last the two worked also for the Vhs-c. FOR this reason to Grundig (controlled from the PHILIPS) abandoned the plan.

I know all that I have read your email. Creed that the portable models VMC sold only the distributor Italian Grundig joint-stock corporation to Trento (North Italy) and impossible to find all the storees Italian. The models of Grundig 2X8X (4 figures) mean the double speed and models 2X0X (4 figures) mean single speed with 4 hours for side also the Italian brand Minerva OEM. But I do not have article or specialistic review for model Grundig prototype 2x4 super reverse stereo noalso to search forum Internet Video 2000. Just for multitrace PCM: The 2 traces of the inclination of the recorded tracks have one audio trace PCM and one trace video like video 8 PCM. To think next to VHR 2000 = Video High Resolution 2000 (high band with video analogic) and Data 216:9 (high definition 16:9 with digital video), but I have made the design logo original Data 216:9 and it is in order to end to calculate new length duration (also meters and speeds to the tape) for video digital like D-VHS (Data VHS) D-Theater Region 2 and Data Beta (I have made the design logo originatel) in my computer, also it is my dream.
For sergiolatino and all the friends of the forum. The models vp -200, vp-300 as the relative video cassettes calls mini or baby and the adapter wmc120 are alone prototypes or at least in Italy never have not been commercialize to you. but to me it would appeal to to be contrasaid. Grundig in the same period was in order to produce a v2000 with autoreverse said "2x4 super-reverse stereo" which it allowed not to extract and to turn the video cassette, perhaps this plan was abandoned because of chasing stategia of the VHS and proposed the versions LP (2080 - 2280 -2280a)con 8 hours for side. To think to a super video 2000 to extended band, with longplay (XL), stereo for the audio-testine linear, Hi-Fi stereo for the digital trace them PCM, (with the possibility of multitrace PCM like in the video8)., and at the same time to a Camcorder to three ccd with the V2000 minium-video cassettes. All the compatible one with the standard of 20 years ago, but with extensive band like Hi - band- Beta or Hi8, and tapes to the evaporated metal... this is my dream... Product from the PHILIPS GRUNDIG SONY. When it touches to me to use my VHS and to see those lines in the fast search and to regulate the tracking, anger attacks me one.

Oh, grazie.
Oh, thank you. I have mistaken the duration VMC-60 instead of VMC-120 that is right. I knew for the fair of Photokina in 1982. Before fair CES, a portable videorecorder rare and prototype of Grundig was CVC (like Funai and Technicolor) in United States then the later months VMC in Europe. Videocassettes CVC and VMC are not compatible between they. But 2 models portable videorecorders VMC of Grundig VP -200 and VP-300 that have put to sell in Europe. I have a review of almanac to photograph year 1983 that is portable 2 VMC.
a sergiolatino The Mini-Video 2000 (1982) In 1982, at the time of Photokina, Philips and its German ally Grundig retorts in Vhs-c by the Mini-Video 2000, a smaller cassette also intended for the portable video tape recorders and than one could look in V2000 of show by means of an adapter. The minicassette VMC 120 measuring 185 X 214 X 74 mm, contained 88 meters of band 1/2”, its autonomy was of 2 X 1 hour since, like the large one, it was reversible. This standard was never marketed.
The videorecorders Video 2000 are not equipped of command of tracking. It employs a device alignment of the automatic tracks (DTF Dynamic Track Following), through rotary testine video that follow reference impulses record on the respective track video.
The mechanics of autoreverse is 2 rolling of rubber and 2 motors of capstan and insertion tape to type "M" like Philips.

Excused, I have mistaken one what. The door-drum is always fixed, not to rotate of 180 degrees, but the rotary drum will be invert (rpm negative) and must be position on the high for track second side (low for track first side) with the activated function of autoreverse.
You are stay calm.
Sto progettando.............
Anch'io sono italiano!

Va bene così, posso fotocopiare tutti i diagrammi schematici? Quanto costano?
Excused my bad English mine . I possess 6 vcr 2000(2 vr 2350, 1 vr 2840, 1 vr 2220/0F + vr 2120, 1 Grundig 2x8 2280, 1 Grundig 2x8 2280a) still working and approximately 500 video cassettes vcc. They are content of these blots some. Also I try information on miniums video cassettes vmc and of vr the 2870 pcm but I task that never has not been sold a copy. If he could himself be acquired... i havealso all the schematic diagrams us of all video 2000 with notes on the maintenance.
Scusate tutti il mio pessimo inglese. Io possiedo 6 vcr 2000( 2 vr 2350, 1 vr 2840, 1 vr 2220/0F + vr 2120 , 1 grundig 2x8 2280, 1 grundig 2x8 2280a ) tuttora funzionanti e circa 500 videocassette vcc.
Hi,I think that all videorecorder Video 2000 with function autoreverse. He could to modify the drum rotating that the technical is different from the Dynamic Drum System of the JVC, but the drum rotating must turn round of the 180° degrees and must be position on the high for track second side (low for track first side) with function autoreverse operating. Philips and Grundig had forgot the function autoreverse! Please, you cannot modify the all yours videorecoders Video 2000 with function autoreverse. I'am doing project.............
It is not existed the function autoreverse in the all videorecorders Video 2000.
subject: V2000 auto reverse machine
Hi!,Does anybody know if a V2000 VCR with autoreverse ever existed? I heard something about it, but never seen one!
I don't understand PAL ... or rather, why you cannot play VHS in PAL in Canada/North America? I'm desperately wanting to buy some stuff from Britain but am told tapes in PAL cannot be played here. Can anyone un-ignorant me?
I am looking for the REEL GEAR for my Philips 2020.I live in Johannesburg,South Africa. Can anyone help? Philips SA do not have spares....Many thanks.
To Mike. Check your actual SCART connector. These connectors may be convenient compared to the old BNC/Phono type but are pretty flimsy by comparison. Check that non of the pins on both ends have come loose and been pushed back. I have had this happen many times. Also, when you put the vcr into place, make sure the connector doesn't get forced out. When this happens, generally you lose the picture, but not the sound. Rich..
To mike [above]
The SCART output on the VR2324 is standard configuration. If it isn't outputting anything then it's probably down to a dry joint on the PCB. Philips were the pioneers of such things like SCART. At the time everyone said 'oh no, you can't use something like that, you need proper phono and BNC connectors' and they snubbed VCRs without such connectors - how wrong were they? Where would the general public be without SCART? Admittedly it's not the best of connectors, but it's frightening the amount of people who ask me how to hook up a DVD, VCR and Sky/cable box to their TV.
Hi,I have aquired a philips V2000 recorder model VR2350 Matchline Stereo,What I wouldlike to get is an operating manual either original or a copy of such.If anybody outthere could help me it would be much appreciated.
HiI wonder if anyone can help I have a 2324 in perfect working order (after being carefully stored for 6 years), and I am trying to output from the scart, but all I get is audio out. Can anyone provide a diagram of the scart set up. Or tell me what I am doing wrong. Many thanksMike
I just posted the previously mentioned V2000 VCR and 12 tapes on the ebay auction page if anyone is interested. The address is :
Just cut and paste this into your browser address window to take a look.
I believe the Philips 1702 is system before V2000, and there is a group for fans on Yahoo, where you should be able to get info and maybe sell VCR.
Hi! I have a Philips N1702 to sell but i dont know if is a Video2000 or anything else.I have change all belts and it works very fine.I buy it becouse i have aprox 50 cassetteswith old children programs and cartoons but this video dont have longplay and every cassettei test is recorded in longplay.
VicRe head replacement. Maybe Philips can supply details of service engineers in your area and one may know the machines and be able to fix it. As you already have the new part, they should be able to do it. Failing that, just go through Yellow Pages til you find someone willing to have a go. Good luck.
Can no-one offer a clue on value per my question above 6 Jan??

I have an ITT VR580 and 12 video cassettes that I wish to sell. Could someone offer a view on what this is worth? I was planning on selling all this on ebay. I should say that the player has a defect where it switches out of "play" moments after the button has been pressed. I remember looking into this at the time and it seemed like it may be a common problem witha particular sensor. Please let me know your thoughts.

For sale: complete PHILIPS VIDEO 2000 camera
Haven't got the exact model number but it's a PHILIPS portable from 83 with everything included. It was working fine last time I used it (albeit some years ago) - for filming, viewing and connected with a VHS for copying.
Camera, microphone, normal lens, wide lens, 2 batteries, battery charger, recorder in its original case with shoulder strap, cables and manual (in Swedish) as well as the receipt.
The best that money could get back in 83 :-)
Goes to the highest bidder. The camera is currently in Sweden, but can be taken to Belgium for pick-up / shipping?
