Anyone got an old Grundig 2x4 SuperGB for spares. The machine I've got was dead, but I no longer have the power supply board to be able to repair it. This is the board at the far left of the machine with the mains cable attached - thanks.

and Finally....

How about starting a section on PALSITE to cover the other Philips Video systems (VCR / N1500) (VCR-LP / N1700). I've got two of the original N1500 machines with the cooker timer style clocks one is ex- Tyne Tees TV (but has gone very rusty inside from being stored in someone's garage) and the other which was recovered from a tip some years ago still in it's original flight case has head drum servo problems. Hoping to get hold of a N1702 very soon.

Also if anyone needs any old V2000 tapes transferred to VHS or S-VHS let me know as I've got a fairly modern V2000 model which has a Scart connector, and seems to produce much better copies than when I used to use the older VR2021 /22 machines for transfers.

Attention V 2000 player owners! I have a quantity of V 2000 recoreded tapes. Is there anyone, preferably in the West of England, who could copy them to VHS cassettes for me? All expenses paid, of course. Thanks, Barbie

Does anyone have a Good condition V2000 machine for sale, preferably a late model Grundig?

I have about 30+ tapes in V2000 format that I would like to check out and copy to VHS.

I also have a couple of Philips 2021 machines that have stopped working, and may be useful for spares.

The ching you describe is quite normal for these machines. The VR2020 /21/22/23 are all affected. It is not a fault.

My VR2020 "chings"! Is it normal, when pressing stop for the machine to make a noise almost like a typewriter bell? It's really quite noticeable. Hope it's not early signs of something wearing out.

I still have a tape in V2000 format of the 1987 FA cup-final between Coventry City and Tottenham (I am a Coventry supporter). I wish to copy it onto a VHS tape. Can anyone help??? After conversion, the 2000 format can be kept by anyone who can help me.

Thanx

I have a Philips VR2020 which is fully functional, it has been in it's original packaging and box for the last 7 years. I have the user manual and a number of tapes. As I say it is fully functional, as I tried it out yesterday, and was reminded what brilliant quality the V2000 system was. Wife wants it out of the way because of it's size, therefore any reasonable offers accepted. The only stipulation is that you must collect from Reading, Berkshire.Look forward to hearing from someone.

I have decided to get rid of the faulty V2000 because I dont have the time or space to keep it. I will try and sell it, but the buyer must collect from Preston, Lancashire. I was looking for offers on the machine, and 12 cassettes. It has a remote which works, yet the machine has a fault (as previously mentioned) so if you make a offer to my EMail address I will try to get in touch. All the best Luke

I live in Sheffield and have a number of faulty Grundig 2x4 Super and 2080 VCRs, and full service manuals (and 200 plus film library). Is there anyone in the area who can repair the machines. Please phone me on 0114 2686058.
