I have a Bang & Olufsen Beocord 8802-V V2000 machine, in workingorder, with quite good picture quality, depending on the quality of the original recording ( but with a "whine" on the audio track - more noticeable on quiet passages and not noticeable on music etc - which is probably caused by a dry joint somewhere or, possibly, failure of the sort of component that is fairly easily replaced ) and cosmetically very good, except for a scratch on one of the plastic side panels. It's built like a tank and weighs a ton!

AV hook-up is possible but using a custom din-type plug that was either peculiar to B & O machines in particular or Philips based models in general. Either way I don't have one but someone with the requisite technical ability could probably make one up.

If anyone is interested in this machine please respond.

Video 2000 players - V2022 / V2023, Grundig 2x4plus

I have several of the above players in various states of repair. Some work, some dont. I will be going through them this week tosee what works and will make a list. In the meantime, if you'reinterested, please let me know. Unfortunately I dont have any tapesfor them, but I may be able to track them down.

Please also let me know how much you are willing to pay based on condition.

ThanksGraham

Hi,

I have two Grundig 2x4 machines (one with remote control unit) plus over 100 used tapes (mainly VCC480). One of the machines works but probably needs new heads. I have one owners manual plus part of a service manual

I have given up on trying to copy the contents of the tapes to VHS,so does anyone want them? I am somewhat sentimental about them (I still think the picture is better than VHS!) and would like themto go a good home. I must ask you to pick them up.

I am in north London

Cheers

Geoff

I've managed to get hold of a copy of the Grundig 2x4 Super's instruction manual if anyone needs help in getting one of these machines tuned in etc. Even something as simple as "record" is not a simple operation unless you've read the manual.

In answer to Andy's question about Philips N1500 manuals, Mauritron Ltd can supply many out-of-print manuals including most Philips "VCR" models (N1500, N1700 etc.) and also most Philips / Grundig "V2000" models. Mauritron's site can be found at:

Hello again,

Again about the V2000 parts. A complete VCR would also be OK. I do not need a working VCR, defects is no problem. My location: TheNetherlands.

Servus

I could get service manuals of most 80s VCRs.They include recorders from systems like VHS, Video2000, Beta, CVCand probably also VCR. Eventually I can even find them of earliermachines.

Does anybody have any information or advertising literature for the Philips VR2025 front-loading machine. It's really a Grundig in a (very feable) disguise. Nobody I've spoken to has ever heard of it...

Mikey.
