The human virus that infests this site and adds no value is trying to make up for his ignorance by spreading miss-information. Not only jealous of people who can do what he cant do but it seems now down right vendictive. Olive has more verbal dexterity in her middle finger than the "challenged" one.

HELLO ,For the record again and again and again , I don't recommend using Metal tapes on non-ED Beta VCRs.
I contacted Noel and other's and you people still think this snail is me.
You know something, use the SP tapes on all your Betamax's.
I called Yahoo and got a great price for the site.. Be able to pass the saving on to the good people.
I had enough of this site, just like the rest of you, At any cost it will be a pleasure to block the turds..
Hi Guys:You can also tell how a member words their posts and the expressionisms they use.In the meantime i KNOW WHO to respond to and ignore.Maybe we should all do the same.Maybe they will go away..................
I have heard that betacam tapes should NOT be used in domestic equipment as it will shorten the head life.I know 8mm tapes were metal based but i would'nt risk any other formats on my precious machines.I also believ ED Beta tapes used a metal type formulation too.not sure....................................Kevin
ølive_e_thømas@yahøø.cøm
I do condone SP, check my ip's you scumheads.
Everyone has been emailed. Thank god for Yahoo chat. Almost setup and will let it be known for joining fees and etc. At least communication will not be destroyed by turds using people's names.
olive_e_thomas@yah¿¿.c¿m
Thanks Stuart. Save me the trouble of cutting this jackoffs balls off.
I DO use SP metal. That WAS me on the initial post.
Give it a try...
Also think about my new Yahoo site.
Now the loser is impersonating Olive and telling us its ok to use sp tapes in betamax vcrs. What a nice chap you are. I for one wont be doing this. Now we can see ip addresses we can see who is real and who isn t.
Hi Noel:In regards to the M50 design, i've only seen pictures but i really do like it.I also like more the LED level meter on the M50 most were that style and layout around that era.It also looks like the clock/counter is straight from the M30.I like the M30 design too and i have that model in mint shape.
As for the Power IC failure i've never seen that on a M40 and ONLY on ONE 5000.I have a M40 with the flatter colour black for the front door panel and it nearly matches the plastic coated steel casing.Maybe Sanyo decided to change it a bit near the end of production. It gives the machine a more classy two tone style.Nearly or all of the other's i've seen are glossy black.......................Kevin
noelmh@no spam.tpg.com.au
Thanks - to the real Olive. I wont be trying the metal SP tapes. I still have all the good oxide betacams so no problem really. I am slowly picking up on the internet things.
ølive_e_thømas@yahøø.cøm
For the record I don't recommend using Metal tapes on non-ED Beta VCRs. The formulation causes interference patterns in non-ED VCRs especially non-HiFi VCRs.
no need to viw source any longer, float over posters name to reveal ip.
noelmh@no spam.tpg.com.au
Olive,
Fortunately you also email me directly so I know you as a "real" person.
cheers Noel
olive_e_thomas@yah¿¿.c¿m
Noel,
Just wanted to put that myth to rest. The piccies on my SL-2000 and SL-HF300 never looked as good as when I ran those metal tapes thru them.
FYI: above post is Timmy the Tool <!-- 125742 125728/1216650215 74.70.107.208 -->
That AOL account points the middle finger at this jackoff.
Don't forget my Yahoo page..this guy is ruining this chatsite. I'm trying to lower the cost to post before really pushing it. It will be better than this wreck.
¿live_e_th¿mas@yah¿¿.com
Post above you is from the plank (64.12.117.203 - an AOL account). You'll pretty much hafta view source everytime you visit here now.
noelmh@no spam.tpg.com.au
Olive,
I am glad you added the comment about SP tapes. I have a few of them I would love to use but have not because of "the myth". What I do know is that the Pro-X tapes I have really don't perform but that might be because they are worn out or breaking down because they are old. The betacam oxide tapes I have used on the HF950 worked great and now I will try some metal SP tapes. They sure look smooth and they have lovely designed cassettes which I guess equates with the sorts of $$$$$ these things cost when new.
cheers Noel
olive_e_thomas@yah¿¿.c¿m
Stuart, thanks. Yes, I've been here since the turn of the century.
Sorry, Noel for my graphic depiction of some very squeemish surgery.
Here's some info on Betacam tapes:
Yes, despite what many people will say, it is safe to use betacam SPtapes in a betamax VCR. There was a rumor that they are very abrasive, but this is NOT true. If anything, they would be less abrasive becauseof the higher quality tape and the fact that betacam uses a much highertape speed. If you can get regular betacam tapes for less, they wouldbe a better buy unless you are using them in an ed beta deck.
BTW,just got made moderator of a Betamax VCR group...

Should be interesting...

Stuart - I would call Olive almost a founding memeber. She has been on the chatpage much longer than I and has a great knowledge of the NTSC machines.
oooo noel, I was thinking of procuring a sony 777 or similar from ebay but im a bit put off now lol! I think I will stick to the panasonic s-vhs machines instead! Olive, dont know where you are from but its nice to see a lady gracing this page, welcome :
noelmh@no spam.tpg.com.au
Hi betaphiles!
Good to see some real people having a chat for a change. So many topics.
Stuart, I believe that there will be a need for the older well built VHS machines to be kept going for the purpose you suggest. I have heaps of the Sony VHS machines and whilst they are nice to use they are less reliable than the HF950 and not as well built. (models here were SLV 787, 777 & 815. I think they were only built about 2 years later but much more plastic. Power supplies are their biggest issue followed by the FM stereo board capaciotrs going off, and the tuner losing lock and stereo output. Displays get dull and sometimes the control microprocessor fails. If you put too much heavy stuff on top of them they can even develop cracks in the boards because the plastic case sags. Oh - I forgot the always sticking because the grease drys out loading arm and the breaking M load levers. Then again, their remotes were only programmed up to about 15 years which is well past now. You have to find an earlier year where the day and date coincide. Currently that is 1997 to replicate 2008 at this time of year. (yes leap years are annoying) I think Panasonics might be more reliable for VHS restoration.
Kevin, Thanks for the info on the IC - I now remember you said that before. Some machines are intermittent which is what made me think it might be an adjustment.
I have seen a few M50s out here (a grey one and a black one which I fixed) and they don't look as nice as the M40 because of the sloping front - a bit like the M30 or the general version of the Toshiba V33A. The M40s I have, come in too types of Black (Dull and Shiny) It's not an aging thing - they really are different. The power supply IC is the biggest failure with these machines from my experience. I have had three fail. Sort of averages out because once the M40 heads are shot you cant get replacements anyway.
Olive - Ouch! - your suggestion bought tears to my eyes.
cheers Noel
Hi Noel and Stu:At last a chance to ahve a decent converstaion with like minded PEOPLE.
Noel,The Sanyo loss of colour issue as far as i know is down to the large IC on the top board ( the number eludes me at present but begins with M and ends in a P).I hav'nt personally had any machine of that model with that fault but have helped two guys out (M20 and M30) with that issue and the replacement of the IC cured the fault. The M series of Sanyo Beta here in the UK are far less then the over popular 5000 and 5150 models. This is a shame as i think they are a better design machine.Stuart: I'm glad the M40 is suiting your needs .I had to wait ages for one and now i have two in perfect condition. As for the weight and design, whilst you could say the m40 had a more flimsy front panel ,especially compared to the Sony SLHF100 i always felt the mechanics/longevity and heads were far more robust than the Sony.A wolf in sheeps clothing you might say.Sanyo have a knack of producing quality items with more efficient parts. It's a shame we did'nt get the M50, that looks a nicer designed machine than the M40 but every bit as good.I know Australia and New Zealand had them for their spec but alas not the UK.Same for the 7250 SuperBeta that was only for the US markets.I think Beta sales had dwindled quite a bit in the UK by 1986 and the budget NX100 was the only model Sanyo thought would gain them sales for the UK.That's the reason Sanyo released their FIRST VHS trio(VHR100,VHR1300 and VHR1500 ,using HQ technology, to lessen the blow for them in making VHS, as beta WAS better quality and all with infra red remote control) under their own name ( previously using Fisher a Sanyo subsidary)Sad but true............................Kevin

Krikey! Looks like our Timmy now thinks he's a girlie! Now copying my old posts.
Just remember Timmy.... if you want to complete the illusion you'll need the take a knife to 'Mister Happy'.... Don't just chop it off - slice it in half lengthwise then flip it around to your insides to make a 'Miss'us Happy'. This means you'll need full penetration sex to get any fun out of it but given the equipment you don't have that shouldn't be too big a problem. I saw something on the Discovery Channel about that sort of thing years ago.
olive_e_thomas@yah¿¿.c¿m
To John; Whatever name you go under i think most here are tired of these strange, remarks, comments and points of view. You probably need to get out more..........Or right a biography This site is for help and advice to Beta enthusiasts not sicofant ravings. Indeed if there is a moderator i suggest you get removed. Please don't bother to respond,it would fall on deafs ears. Let's get back to talking about help and advice. It seems no matter what chat board you go on these days there's always one who has to spoil it......jeeeeeeeez.....
Hey, Walter, I also buy railway oil lamps and restore them / repaint them. Then I sell some of them on again. Comments? I paid equvilant of $680 for a Sanyo m40 last month and very happy with it I am too. I also own 3 fully working sony hf950s. 1 of them has dodgy led level meters but we wont go there.. it doesnt bother me as long as the vcr is fully working which it is. Want to buy it off me? Yours for $ 800
Well..Stuart you see> He's not dumb but nuts..
Hi Noel, I did notice they are more plasticy than sonys but wtill many less boards in them than the equivilant sony! Regarding repairng vcrs I am even thinking of doing the same for the higher end vhs machines made by panasonic and sony. How many vhs tapes will there be out there that people need a good machine to use to copy to dvd with?
noelmh@no spam.tpg.com.au
Stuart,
The main reason the Sanyos are lighter is the plastic chassis.
cheers Noel
Hi Kevin, im ok thanks, just bought an hf100ec I am going to convert to a ub, clean it up and make sure all is well and sell it on again and, are you listening ed - FOR A PROFIT because I will have invested time and effort in restoring and converting it. Kevin, your m40 is superb but have noticed its a lot lighter and less circuit board intensive than the hf100. How did sanyo achieve this?
Olive, I don't know what to say anymore, did I deserve to laugh...
Just about shows the level of stupidity and dumbness of this person. Thinks I can bid on my own buy it now ebay sales? Obviously no idea how ebay works then!
olive_e_thomas@yah¿¿.c¿m
Here is another page with both 10 pin and 14 pin camera pinouts...
http://uk.geocities.com/olive_e_thomas/10pinvideofaq.htm
If the zoom feature isn't working on your camera it's likely because the tiny rubber belt that works the zoom is decayed to the point of unusability.
olive_e_thomas@yah¿¿.c¿m
HiBand and SuperBeta are essentially the same format but with different names.
HiBand is what the 5.6mhz version of SuperBeta was called in Japan and apparently is what it was called on the Betamovies with HiBand recording - the switch to activate such recording is called a "HiBand" switch.
Super HiBand referred to the 6.0mhz BI recording version and was referred to as such in both countries.
Gee... All I hafta do to get video into my computer is plug in A/V cables to it's A/V jacks. But then I have a Macintosh...
I see Lucrezia is still around in cyberspace...
noelmh@no spam.tpg.com.au
Kevin,
I have a few M10 and M20s that I am looking at. Loss of colour seems to be a problem that happens to these models apart from the obvious belt and drive rubber isues. Replacing the top board fixes the problem but I am not sure if its a faulty IC or an out of alignment thing. I don't have much info on that model.
cheers Noel
noelmh@no spam.tpg.com.au
Kevin,
Things are good here thanks, how about you?

Four more doses of crap - nothing useful :-)
oh dear. This is getting boring
?????????
My comfort to have you here Olive.
to Dr X (Walter)CF pandemonium for the sane! I'd studied a person like you before and I'm not supprised. The more you posts the more I gain. There's no possible cure for a person like you from this site so you know what to do instead. We had your repetitive core here on palsite for about 3 months and that's NOT include all attack you'd built. You're either sick or maybe you'd scammed your own kind and making all of this as an excuse. I found you no use to this site other than impeachment and you're happy doing it! You've been skinned repeatedly way too many times here. You're an abnormal person, and don't ever think that you're superior. Seek a shrink! and have some medicine for heaven shake.

Man do I love jacking off on this pathetic site. Every few days I change names but use the same gayass AOL account and whenever any of the regular members call me on it I get all butthurt and piss and moan like THEY'RE the bad guy. I'm such a douchebag it's not even funny.
BTW NOEL , I will handle the NTSC model questions on here..
No need for you to give information that you are not sure of ...
Thanks
Thanks for finally clearing up why you are here..
It will be nice to see you help others without emailing off the Palsite or putting websites on here to get a simple answer.
Also STUART wont have to email you on here about your bussiness and all the shill posting.
OK, We will see if you really want to help others or $$$$.
Welcome Noel
noelmh@no spam.tpg.com.au
Struth, a little bit of action on the chatpage.
All that from a little helpful "free" advice. Thanks for the compliment above but I would never say I know it all, just that I know a bit more than some and invent solutions along the way when parts are not available. I learn every day and that is why I like the hobby of restoring these machines so much. I like a challenge and if I didn't keep learning it would not be a challenge. I am happy to help others fix their machines. That is also the reason I bother to look here because there are others willing to share their knowledge of machines.
As I have said before, I don't know much about NTSC models though judging from the above it is undoubtedly more than Dr X.
I can only conclude that someone who would like to do the same (but is a complete failure) would get any satisfaction out of the rants. (quite often to themselves after short time intervals and in other names to try and put a point inventively) These might be the friends he mentions. I don't think I have ever heard one bit of good information from this self appointed enforcer.
Ebay sales - again - it is a market and matters only to the seller and the buyers. Apart from the feedback they give one another (to help potential buyers) what does it matter to anyone else enough to comment on unless they are jealous because they have no clues?
regards to the sane beta enthusiasts out there - Noel
WOW --- Kevin, I never mentioned your name as one who used this Palsite for a money making venture.
I think I might have left out a nmae the way you are whining about what I said about helping people only.. Not sending them to some website.
Sorry if I said something to hurt your wallet..
Calm down and watch a Beta tape on your Semi working Sanyo..
Wow , what a wreck
This is what Walrus did to his lovely Beta machine.

BOBY, Im sure that Noel in your eyes can build anything..
The fact is that from what I see there are a few people on here for more than just answering questions.
Almost like a gang wating for the next victim to ask a question.
As long as I have a way. This site will be for QUESTIONS & ANSWERS ONLY.
Find some other place to fleece posters of their money OR just be a nice person and try to help them --without emptying their wallets.
Have a great day BOBY and NOEL
BTW.. BOBY, you might want to take a few moments to fix that eBay disaster.. Noel who you thinks knows everything , may be able to clean up that muslim mess.
I'm sure Noel can build RFmod if he wants to, no doubt at all. Gtg Gang..
G.Larson
Dear Betaphiles, did we have the same rubbish?
With all do respect, BOBY& Noel and the filthy mouth OLIVE
that (HER -HE) posts were removed.
I have sat by and let you character asassinate others that say the same crap as you , But put it in simple language.
I see people on here that defend each other because they were able to screw each other on rare parts and now each one has their hands in the other's wallet.
I see NOEL and BOBY and the others , pissed off because their personal money making chat page has been taken away from them and to make their rambling about a BCM connector sound correct , knock others so POOR ADAM will be directed to their dens for a wallet flush..
Talk about the subject .
BTW Boby BETASHY.. I looked up your past auctions and if selling nothing was great , you be the best.
Your auction descriptions are like your post here, They make no sence.. Maybe that's why you can only sell to Noel because he speaks your lingo.
With all do respect John, that guy you mentioned above keeps mirroring and see himself as to other people esp Boby, Noel etc. I'm sorry I have to say this, please go find yourself a counsellor and don't let it ruin your life 'Doctor WHO'.
Walter aka Dr Steve aka Peterson aka Comandant Klink aka Ed Beta aka Dunno Who, what more ?? Didn't I deserve to laugh...
Boby, I wasnt sure before , But now I know that you have no clue about Betamax's and I see why Betashy has more non sales on eBay than sales..
I suggest that you open your english book and condence your sentences.
Again so that Adam doesnt get confused..
What Boby was trying to say in INDONISIA, buy a BDC at radio shack
OK now, let's get things straigthened;
An industrial Betamax mostly does not have Turner or any kind of RF outputs. they just have PCM-out (BNCs) and along with Audio-out R-Left channel for stereo output or 1 monaural out channel sound for older series. They're design to produce or duplicates Movie.and of course not for Home entertainment.(we can use it for one if we want to)
About my previous posts on hooking up such machine (regardless NTSC or PAL) to an old TV antenna input. You must get yourself an RF-modulator for those machine that doesn't have RF-out channel.
For such machine that have RF-output function, we only need cable and BNC to F or BNC to RCA(depend on type of cable used).
That would be very clear.
Kindly regards,Boby.
Yes BOBY, I will be back.
I suggest you get used to it and talk about a subject other than me.. Grow up and clean your Turbin..
Dr. Steve
It's nice to know he's coming back isn't it?
Above poster "ROD" aka Olive(r), Boby, Olivia, Noel is what I am talking about.
All I did was try to help in a simple manner.
I'm not here to make something complicated to make money by emailing me.
I made a mistake..it is BNC to RCA that this guy Adam needs.
Now you are crucifying me?
I have never seen such anger and vitriole over me making an error and trying tosimplify a simple question.
Sorry that my livelihood does not depend on this site...if it did maybe I would, like some of you, be angry at some iterloper taking over my territory.
I leave now and apologize to all who I may have offended...but do expect me back soon.
Dr. Steve
i have a sony betamax C6 silver in colour which i think is the mark 1there is a problem with the eject system and the tape is stuff is there anywhere in uk i could obtain the parts any info would be greatly received
Despite being attacked, I'm going to lay all this jibberish to rest.
HELLO ADAM:
WHAT IS THE MODEL NUMBER OF THE BETAMAX YOU ARE DISCUSSING?THE NUMBER SHOULD BEGIN WITH SLO-
That second picture is the right adapter, if you reveal the model number of your Betamax that will serve to confirm it.
Enough already folks. You have made your points over and over. Boby is great, I am bad. Olive is great, Noel is great and on and on. What all that has to do with the Betamax hobby baffles me.
This constant nit-picking and bickering that you gentlemen engage in serves no purpose, other than to draw trouble makers to this chatpage.
Haven't you learned from past experience when this beloved site kept shutting down?
"The sign of mental illness is to do the same thing over and over again and expect different results" Believe it and get help.
Dr. Steve
I fully agree with Noel, Boby is a top bloke. As well as selling me a hf150 head via ebay he also sold a Mr Koster one too, enabling him to get his hf100 restored with new heads. The genuine Boby is not to be confused with anyone who may imitate him. Cheers again Noel for your info on the hf100ec query to turn into a ub model, I have just sent off payment for this machine and should have it in the next 10 days or so. I do have the parts you mention to swap into it.
Adam(?)
May I know what you need please, PICTURE ONLY or full video (picture and sound). In order to have full picture and sound stream to hook up on TV Antenna there must be a device to help otherwise you need cable only and of course connectors.
ps; Thanks Kevin for the comments
Kindly regards, Boby.
noelmh@no spam.tpg.com.au
Adam,
Has your TV got an Audio and Video input?
If so you will need two leads to connect VCR video and audio out to the TV video and audio in.
regards Noel
noelmh@no spam.tpg.com.au
Adam,
Thats not it. You want a BNC male to RCA female.

I think the link i posted contained the wrong connetor, I think it would be this one
http://www.trianglecables.com/200-130-g.html
I would need a female to female connector
Thanks for your help, I've never messed with vcrs with this type of connections, Bare with me, as I'm trying to learn. I know nothing about them. The vcr has a R.F. in the back along with video in/out with these types of connections, Also has a R.F. selector in front of vcr. So if i Bought whats pictured in the link
http://www.trianglecables.com/200-108.html
Connected it to R.F. on vcr and pluged a female to female cable connector and hooked it to t.v. would it work with video and sound?
Thanks....Adam
Hi Noel and the other reputable genuine guys who post here:)
Well i've heard of a 'split personality' but QUADRUPLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Jan/Dr Steve/Timmy/Bobby2 and any other psuedonym you post under. You are pretty sad and need help. Not for Beta though but with your strange need to post under different names and play out different characters. You came here and stirred up trouble with 'the real Bobby' and then threw your rattle because you could'nt get the info you wanted.Since that SAD DAY you have come here with your insults and drivvle, accusations, trying to get decent hard working Betaphiles to react and pander to your sarange comments and lies. Then try to post inffo and suggest we all get along and be nice. Can i suggest you SERIOUSLY GET SOME HELP form your doctor and stop the crap. It's gone on long enough.Yes you have the highest post amount on this board ( if that was your aim) but we are not interested in any of your comments, as they are repetitive and nonsensical to most here.Any newbie looking for help will be confused with your strange comments.get a life.... enjoy your life but PLEASE do it elswhere.............................Kevin
noelmh@no spam.tpg.com.au
Adam,
If the BNC connector on your NTSC beta machine is marked as video output then that will not give you an RF output that you can watch with your normal TV set with a signal feed into the antenna connection. You need to use signals from the Audio O/P of the VCR(usually an RCA connector) and the video O/P (usually on a Sony a BNC) to connect to the AV input of a DVD recorder. (usually RCA connectors) The RF modulator Boby was talking about you getting is an external box giving the RF channel out function (as a VHF or UHF TV channel) of a normal VCR which are not provided on a commercial or editing VCR.
Also for your information, because someone here is set on doing character assassinations, the reason I support Boby is that he is a real person and although I have not met him, I have bought parts off him directly to repair machines and he is genuine. Guys I met in the UK on my trip there have also had no problem when purchasing parts from him.
cheers Noel
Thanks guys for the info I'll have to find where I can get a BNC to F connector adapter. Hopefully it's something thats just a little connector and not something that requires to be plugged in the wall and have to connect wires, I want something simple... If you know a link to one can you poet one? Also I'm hoping Radio Shake will have a simple adapter
Steven, the RMT-313 goes to the Sony Betamax SL-5200, if you have one of those
You are absolutely correct, Boby.I am one of you. I am in a filthy turbin as I write this.Have a good evening, Dr. Steve.
I just can't help myself not to laugh...nighty2..winkwink..buzzz..gulpgulpgulp
G'day Noel...Now, let me say something Dr Megabyte. I speak 3 different languanges and I understand 5 languages. I speak yours but you don't. I think you're one of us and I hope this prediction is absolutely wrong. Cheers,Boby
Noel,
How do you know which one of these posters is "Boby".
The guy posts under at least 5 names.
I know it's him 'cus they all write like morons.
The real funny thing is, you, Noel, always agree with him.
Cheers, Dr. Steve
noelnh@non spam.tpg.com.au
Bobys right - Steves got no clue.
I'm Dr. Steve, not Dr. Freud Mr. Larson.
also some id crisis...
What ever you say, Boby.
Er.. Dr Steve, I think that guy/s making a fool outta us. They just putting bates on technics stuff. Don't you agree?
Adam,
You probably have a headache by now.
You need a male BNC to F connector adapter. It's that simple.
Forget the gobledegook above.
This is really sad. "A little knowledge is a deangerous thing"....Confucious
Dr. Steve
PS; Plenty of device on market that can meet your needs, and I'm sure there's description and review on it, here's the link;
http://www.radioshack.com/sm-rf-modulatorvideo-component-adapter--pi-2103095.html
in order to complete the setting you also have to get a BNC to RCA conversion plug and some cabling.
That's all. Cheers,Boby.
Well, I admit that my previous post is really hard to understand for most people but I'm sure Noel don't need any description.
I used to have 1 device that Adam mention, it was made by Sony and it comes from a handycam.(I'd modified the 'RF modulator cable' for my own usage)
There's no way of mixing such different signal into 1 single stream without a device/RF adapter/modulator.
Here's the basics on hooking that industrial Beta to an old TV set;

To the above poster:
I am aware you are ignorant of the particulars concerning NTSC Betamax.
Still, confine your comments to whatever you know about our hobby.
These cheap shots at me doesn't help your credibility nor your business (wink, wink).
I am glad that my short jibe at you yesterday didn't bother you. That sure is obvious!

Dr Steve? more like inmate Steve.
Adam,
This page contains so many folks who are out to destroy people who post and the venue itself, we usually disguise our emails.
The RMT list is just a list of what remotes go with what Betamax vcr's. I don't actually have them on hand. I have a few, but not the RMT-313.
Oh, and those connectors are called BNC. You need a male BNC to F connector adapter. It's that simple >disregard that previous, rambling, non-informational post.
To the above: If it was NTSC you would jump right on it and everyone knows that for a fact.
Have a great day folks....Dr. Steve

Oh bother - I missed a dig!
Hey steven, it's NTSC stuff not PAL "nodd nodd, wink wink" - you idiot - doesn't bother me at all.
To get your industrial Beta signal out (BNC and RCA AV-out) to a single Coax(regular TV) you'll have to find an RF modulator to combine those Video and Audio streams into 1 single channel or cable. If there's such 'single cable' with and adapter stuck/build within then there should be a power supply (ie;battery) to intergrate.
Regards,Boby.
Steven I would be intrested in the RMT-313 I tried e-mailing you, but the address is wrong.. how much?
One quick question On Industrial (SLO) American vcrs, Whats the name of the cable in and out put? I know the in and outputs are different from home use vcrs. Is there a cable that has an adapter to hook from the industrial vcr to a regular TV.. I think all Pal vcrs have these same hookups...
Thanks...

You reap what you sow
Quote "I will deal with this eBay character Boby, later." Ebay doesn't have character, the person has one.
I see that the essence of the lovely betapage has drifted too far! A pity to the poor soul.
John,
RE: SL-860D
Go to this website: http://mrbetamax.com/Capstan1.htm
Click on the third picture of a capstan and you will see your problem.
His prices are reasonable, he is a joy to talk with and when you purchase from him you get as close to an original Betamax as possible. Not like the junk being sold on eBay with the missing doors, no remotes, scratches and etc.
Hope this answer doesn't alarm Noel nor take away a possible source of income.
We all know what I am saying, wink wink.
Wow, I awoke this morning to WW111.
I see my address is being posted again.
Nice job Olive and Boby.
I have said repeatedly that I live in Va. You are not revealing anything new.
Olive it seems you have angered someone again. Really, go back to your Yahoo page and troll for postings from here.
I will deal with this eBay character Boby, later.
Cheers for now. Dr. Steve

Hi Olive, Kevin and Boby,
I see the idiot is still here giving no good beta advice, just telling others what they should do. (like who died and made him king!)
cheers Noel
Olive I knew you've in plasite since 2000, Noel came in 2001 but only a while and followed by me. You've been an outstanding contributing member since and there's no need to justify.Cheers,Boby.

Only thing 'exposed' is the fact that your IP is showing up differently.

An IP lookup reveals both are AOL addresses

IP address: 205.188.117.203
Location: Warwick, RI, UNITED STATES
Also some sock pupper is using proxy7.guardster.com
I've been on this site since the turn of the century and have seen trolls like you come and go so there's no need to delude yourself into thinking you're doing anything 'special' so stop cutting and pasting other peoples legitimate PALchat postings.
I got this SL-HF860 from a friend. Everything was fine yersteday until I put a blank tape in recently then the machine won't start. This could be the reel motor problem but I don't know where to begin with. Maybe any of you gang have ideas or clue to help me out? Many thanks in advanced.
in hope, John.
I didn't say theirs were different. I said that mine was different from theirs.
I pray the system administrator removes your post. Your language defies anything imaginable. This is a chatpage. Why are you so angry ever single day?
In any event, Olive(r), now that you've been exposed for trolling yourself, you're hardly in a position to cast stones. But I understand your outrage about two or more people who share an opinion different from yours, for which you can find support only in imaginary people.
But that doesn't matter to you. Most antisocial degenerates don't give much thought to their hypocrisy and hate, and tend apply the standards they could never possibly achieve themselves to others as a form of wishful thinking about how their lives might have been.
I hope that your buffoonish behavior on this board ultimately yields some at least unintended cathartic good to you for the benefit of everyone. But at some point, you are going to need some outside help. That's obvious.
I believe Steven is a real good guy.
