Set the AUDIO control to the "aut" position. |

Press the ON button. The red lamp lights. Wait until the red lamp goes
out.
NOTE: When the VCR is switched on and the tape is stationary, like now, the VCR will automatically switch off in about 45 seconds unless one of the tape motion keys is pressed. After an unwanted automatic switch-off, press the ON button then move to the next instruction after the red lamp goes out. |

If necessary, press the REWIND key to wind the tape to the beginning. |

Press the STOP key. |
