Press the OFF button. The red lamp lights and then goes out a few seconds later. |

Press the RECORD key and the START key, simultaneously. |

Press the pre-tuning button on the VCR that selects the required T.V. channel. For example, button 2 for the programme selected by the second T.V. preselector. |
|
Set the tape counter to 000 using the reset button. |
